1Ti 3:2 Then it behooves the overseer to be without reproach, husband of one wife, temperate, sensible, well-ordered, hospitable, apt at teaching,
1Ti 3:3 not a drunkard, not contentious, not greedy of ill gain, but gentle, not quarrelsome, not covetous,
1Ti 3:4 ruling his own house well, having children in subjection with all honor.
1Ti 3:11 Even so their wives are to be reverent, not slanderers, temperate, faithful in all things.
Paul, if he were alive today, would NOT join as a bishop, any man made denomination which does not follow these criteria.
What is more important to you? The Bible
or your denomination?
When we stand before Christ on judgment day (2Cor.5:10),
no man made priest or denominational creed will be with us, the Bible
alone will stand. See John 12:48.
If God puts His Word above His own name, what do you think of any religion which puts their dogmas above the Word of God? What does your denomination do? Preach its dogmas or the Word of God rightly divided?
